- 1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
- 20 drops peppermint essential oil
- 12 drops lavender essential oil
- 10 drop Frankincense Essential Oil
- 1 small glass jar or metal tin
Instructions
- Melt the base: Place the coconut oil in the top of a double boiler over water and heat until melted
- Cool slightly: Remove from heat and let it cool for 1–2 minutes so it is warm but not hot.
- Add essential oils: Stir in the peppermint, lavender and frankincense essential oils.
- Set: Pour the mixture into your container and let it cool on the counter until it solidifies completely (about 30 minutes).
How to Use
Gently rub a small amount of the balm onto your temples, forehead, or the back of your neck when you feel a headache coming on. Be careful to not get too close to your eyes.
This works for me, but everyone is different.
