Coconut Oil Headache Balm

  • 1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
  • 20 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 12 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drop Frankincense Essential Oil
  • 1 small glass jar or metal tin
Instructions
  1. Melt the base: Place the coconut oil in the top of a double boiler over water and heat until melted
  2. Cool slightly: Remove from heat and let it cool for 1–2 minutes so it is warm but not hot.
  3. Add essential oils: Stir in the peppermint, lavender and frankincense essential oils.
  4. Set: Pour the mixture into your container and let it cool on the counter until it solidifies completely (about 30 minutes).
How to Use
Gently rub a small amount of the balm onto your temples, forehead, or the back of your neck when you feel a headache coming on. Be careful to not get too close to your eyes.
This works for me, but everyone is different.
